Hanover has received its first quarter payment from OLG for hosting Playtime Casino Hanover.
The town has received $347,309 in the first quarter payment who to date since opening the casino in February 2001 has now received $24,382,815.
Clinton has also received $201,065 for hosting Gateway Casinos Clinton.
These payments to host communities are based on a formula in the Municipality Contribution Agreement that is consistently applied across all land-based casino sites in Ontario using a graduated scale of gaming revenue at the hosted site.
