The demolition of Groves Memorial Community Hospital is complete and the Ministry of Health has approved the sale.
The old hospital was closed in August 2020 after the new hospital opened up.
A committee of hospital board members, community members and hospital staff was then formed working with the Ministry and Ontario Health West to determine what to do with the old hospital.
Angela Stanley, President and CEO of Groves Memorial says the old hospital site is an asset of the health system and as such any decision about the property is governed by the Ministry of Health.
