The Ontario Hospital Association is calling for lockdown procedures on the COVID-19 framework for certain regions.
The call for a shift to grey is on all regions of an infection of 40 per 100,000 population or higher. This would affect surrounding areas of Huron-Perth including Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph, Waterloo and London-Middlesex.
Many areas are dealing with outbreaks in schools and hospitals, resulting in canceled surgeries and the provincial government reminding school boards to be ready at any moment to go to full online learning.
Cabinet will meet tomorrow and update the public if there will be any changes in regions in the province on the COVID-19 framework.
