The ground has broken in Drayton to officially mark Northern Maple Utilities to help expand water and wastewater services and Infrastructure throughout the Township of Mapleton.
A groundbreaking was held earlier his month to mark the next big step for the municipality.
With the collaborative efforts between Mapleton, Graham Capital, CIMA+ and the Ontario Clean Water Agency, Northern Maple Utilities officially launched in the spring this year.
With over $40 million set for infrastructure investments which already has started, the transition to NMI will occur over the year and cover all operation aspects including water and wastewater billing.
