North Wellington Health Care announces Redirection of Obstetrical Services Until Further Notice

North Wellington Health Care provided an update to the community today advising that it continues to redirect obstetrical services.

Both Palmerston & District Hospital and Louise Marshall Hospital will continue with the move until further notice.

The redirection has been in place since June 6^th with Angela Stanley, President & CEO of North Wellington Health Care saying the change in service is necessary as they continue to deal with health human resource shortages.

The redirection was set to end on September 1st.

She adds that any OB patient should check with their physician to determine the best care plan and they are working closely with neighbouring hospitals & midwifery groups to notify them of potential increased volumes.
