The next step in bringing a dog park to North Perth could be accomplished tonight for a proposed location in Listowel.
Council meets this evening and among the discussion will include an update on having a dog park in the community.
A 10 step approach has been taken by staff as a volunteer group looked at potential locations for the park which will be suggested in an area north of the Steve Kerr Memorial Complex.
Benefits from the site write the installation of a fence in the area is simple at a cost of $39,000, is away from residential areas with the potential to expand and providing ample parking away from busy highways.
Council meets tonight at 7pm.
