North Perth Reminds Residents to Stay within Arms Reach of Children Swimming

With the warmer weather upon us and people getting out into the pool and to large bodies of water to cool off North Perth shared a reminder about water safety over the weekend.

In it they stress the importance of supervising children while in the water.

They say it should be direct supervision  and they should always be within an arms’ reach.

The slogan in the post is “Put Your Phone Down! Drowning is Fast and Silent.”

It also stresses the importance of swimming lessons for all children.
