In the post North Perth says that in reviewing the rink agreement and operation, insurance coverage became a concern. They added that for the protection of the Club and Municipality from significant legal risk they asked the rink to be temporarily closed.
Municipal Staff will be submitting a report to Council in the near future they inform that will offer various solutions to the situation.
The post closes by saying they realize the importance of the amenity and they want to make sure appropriate measures are taken to protect those that operate the facility.
