With another fresh layer of snow, the North Perth Fire department is reminding everyone the dangers frost and snow causes to vents.
Without proper ventilation, carbon monoxide can build up in a home which can be caused easily when vents are not cleared of ice and snow.
The fire department is reminding everyone to clear off any snow and ice on their vents and if there is a fire hydrant near their home to take a few extra minutes to keep it clear as well.
