The North Perth Fire Department is expanding safety initiatives and training opportunities, offering a boost to their team.
Strategies approved by council during a meeting last month include the creation of a public safety announcement focused on grain bin safety, continued work with the Ontario Federation of Agriculture, promotion of low-cost Confined Space Awareness and Lock Out Tag Out course offerings locally.
The fire department says they remain committed to delivering fire protection services by three lines of defense, public fire safety education, standards and enforcement and emergency fire response.
