Tonight in council, Lee Anne Andriessen is expected to bring forward a notice of motion to lower the speed limit on Perth Line 88 in Kurtzville.
As it stands, the speed limit around the requested area is 60km per hour but residents have expressed their concerns saying drivers are still plowing through at 80km.
Residents have their concerns for the safety of young children in the area with the a request for a speed limit change down to 40km on Perth Line 88.
On top of the notice to lower the speed limit, a request to consider in the future for installing electronic signs for traffic speed is also included.
