North Perth council met for the last regular meeting of the year and among discussion was a report titled Listowel Official Plan Amendment 33 and North Perth Zoning By-Law.
Some residents may have seen and provided feedback regarding a notice by empty land beside KFC in town.
Among some discussion between the municipality and the developer such as proposed parking for a mixed used building or provisions for outdoor amenities and outdoor storage.
Manager of Planning, Sally McMullen says currently within North Perth, less and less land is becoming available.
“Available land as you know isn’t plentiful right now in Perth for new developments.” said McMullen.
Council approved the report and will return to the discussion at a later date.
