North Perth could be home to more childcare spaces.
Heading to council tonight is the discussion for North Perth to be the licensed child care operator for these additional spaces.
Renovations are taking place at Listowel Eastdale Public School for a childcare centre which is expected to be complete next year.
The new space will allow 10 infants, 15 toddlers and 24 preschool spaces for a total of 49 childcare spaces with an open date by the end of 2025.
Further St Marys Child Care Centre in Listowel is also expanding with an open date at the end of 2027.
As it heads to council its recommended council approve the request from the City of Stratford for North Perth to be the licensed operator for both sites.
