North Perth council is looking ahead to solving an issue on a local road which has caused a slew of accidents over the past 10 years.
Perth Road 178 and Perth Line 88 just outside of Kurtzville has seen a slew of issues of collisions with 15 total since 2011.
Officials are looking to solve this issue.
CAO Kris Snell says, due to the intersections location, it will require working out solutions with Huron County as well.
“Ask the County of Perth to discuss and consult with the County of Huron and look at implementing some safety standards at the corner to decrease collisions and make it safer for all the residents.” said Snell.
North Perth council voted strongly in favour to work towards strategies on Perth Road 178 and Perth Line 88 in the near future with rest of Perth County and with Huron County.
