A 34 year old from North Huron has been charged following an intimate partner violence investigation.
On February 15th, police began an investigation into a matter of intimate partners in North Huron where it was learned the suspect had committed several acts against their partner dating as far back as 2013.
As a result the 34 year old faces multiple charges including two counts of Assault, Forcible Confinement, Uttering Threats, Sexual Assault, Domestic Mischief and 3 counts of Careless Storage of a Firearm.
The accused was remanded into custody with a future court date in Goderich.
