North Huron council costs were down nearly $15,000 in 2020, mostly from reduced activities from the pandemic.
Director of Finance, Donna White submitted a report on council on expenses throughout the year. The report, a requirement as part of the municipal act showed salary paid to council last year totaled $85,484.74.
The amount accounts for honorariums, meeting allowances, travel and conference expenses. Reduced activity however throughout 2020 has allowed North Huron to set aside $14,885 to put into an account for future use.
