The call is now out in St Marys to find those worthy for the Strong as Stone award.
The Strong as Stone program looks for those who selfless deeds have contributed to the quality of life within St Marys.
Nominations are open to be honoured for their good deeds with criteria including being a St Mary’s resident or in the surrounding community who’s acts of service have benefited the town.
Nominees must also meet at least one of the following;
- Their unpaid volunteer contributions provide extraordinary help to families or groups in St. Marys
- They continually volunteer their time, talent and energy without pay to improve the quality of life in St. Marys
- They have been voluntarily involved in a program or project that has had a lasting benefit for St. Marys and its residents
Nominations will be accepted until March 22nd which will then be reviewed by an internal committee.
