Nominations are now open for the Norm Stirling Citizen of the Year and the North Perth Inspiration Award.
The awards help recognize individuals who inspire others through their outstanding accomplishments or service to the community within the year.
The Norm Stirling award has been given out for more than 40 years in honour of Norm Stirling, a forestry foreman with Ontario Hydro and among the heroes in the 1959 Listowel Memorial Arena Collapse who grabbed and carried two players to the ice and took cover at the north sideboards.
Nominations are open until April 5th.
