New Federal Party On the Move Looking to Expand Membership

There’s a new federal party looking to make its impact in Ottawa.

Grant Abraham leads the United Party of Canada who is a lawyer, author, small holding organic farmer who is Alberta born and British Columbia raised who on Monday was in Listowel telling locals about the party and their vision for the country.

The United Party believes in a Canada First approach where all Canadians have the right of freedom of thought, belief, conscience and religion.

“It’s basically a fiscally Conservative party, its grassroots bottoms up but is also talking about the social conservatives issues.” said Abraham

Abraham says it was some moves seen in the House of Commons and missed conversations being had which pushed him creating the United Party.

“Every single one of those Conservative MP’s voted for Bill C-4 and that is a big issue in Canada. When people come to the knowledge of that, it really causes them to stop and reflect. What built this country is families and families building communities, when you start messing with how the home works and the schools coming between parents and children, that’s actually an attack on what it is on what built our nation.”

Abraham says while there are some elected officials in Ottawa with the right stuff, he doesn’t believe they’re on the right path and need someone to steer the ship.

“There are some good sailors on a ship that is not seaworthy for what Canada needs right now and maybe some of them will cross the floor. Our nation is being undermined and the Conservative Party is not standing up against the threats to this country, in many ways they actually look complacent “

Abraham has been touring across Canada sharing his message of the party with Canadians, rallying support and preparing for the coming federal election.

Abraham urges Canadians to vote, saying their vote matters.

“For so many years we’ve just had a laze affair approach to the vote. Your vote matters now more than ever… don’t get sucked into this lie that I hear all the time that if we vote somewhere else we’re going to split the vote and Trudeau will get back in. The point here is it doesn’t matter which one it is because they both are doing the same thing.”
