The Multicultural Association of Perth-Huron is turning to the public once again in support for those fleeing the crisis in Ukraine.
Over $37,000 has been donated to help support those settling in Perth-Huron with housing, food and supplies.
The Multicultural Association is now asking for donations to purchase plane tickets to Canada for refugees who aren’t able to afford them.
While as many as 35 families have passed Canada’s immigration screening requirements to arrive in the next few weeks some do not have enough money to purchase the plane tickets needed to escape.
