North Wellington residents are being asked to conserve their water this summer as rehabilitation work will begin on the Mount Forest Standpipe.
Starting this Wednesday, the water tower will be taken out of service until the work is done later this summer and in that time stage 2 water restrictions will be in place.
Similar to what has been seen in years past, homes with even house numbers will be permitted outdoor water usage on even calendar days with homes with odd numbers can use on odd calendar days.
Outdoor usage must be done between 6-9am and 7-10pm.
In the event of an extreme water shortage a total ban on non essential use of water could be used by the township.
