Motor vehicle collision closes Highway 6 for cleanup in Mapleton

This morning at approximately 10:30am members of the Wellington County OPP along with Mapleton Fire & Rescue and Guelph-Wellington Paramedics responded to a single motor vehicle rollover on Highway 6 near Side Road 19 in the Township of Mapleton.

It was reported that straight truck loaded with granular fertilizer left the roadway and rolled over.

The driver and lone occupant was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Highway 6 between Wellington Road 16 and Wellington Road 109 is temporarily closed for cleap-up.
