Tree planting across Perth County continues to make its impact and getting more schools involved.
Grade 4 and 5 students at Downie Central Public School were joined by Perth County Deputy Warden Sue Orr to get to work on planting trees.
The County is crediting the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority and Ms. Hildenbrand for the coordination and support with this project made possible through Perth County’s Stewardship Program.
The program has seen nothing but success since its inception with 28,439 native trees planted across Perth County.
