Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae announced provincial funding being provided to support more childcare spaces across the community.
Thirty nine new spaces will be added in Milverton. Rae says the Avon Maitland District School Board has been provided a scope change and approval for the childcare additions for Milverton Public School.
This is great news for families in Milverton and Perth East,” Rae said. “Affordable and accessible child care is a necessity no matter where you live in Ontario. It is important that we continue to make these investments in our rural communities”
The centre will been made up of two additional childcare rooms.
The recent $1.7 million investment will now bring the total funding to $2.9 million.
