A Moorefield couple is $500,000 richer after winning second prize in the OLG’s Grand draw.
Michael and Linda Boyd matched five main numbers to win $25,000 a year for life in the February 27th draw where they opted to take a lump sum prize of $500,000.
Michael says he received an email from OLG to log into his account where he found what he had won, waking up his wife who at first didn’t even believe him, saying he was being scammed.
The couple who’s been married for over 50 years plans to put their win towards a family vacation fund.
The winning ticket was purchased online.
