Mitchell will welcome its first McDonalds restaurant this morning and residents can celebrate by giving back to Ronald McDonald House Charites.
A ribbon cutting will take place at 11am at 5878 Line 34.
Rob and Michelle Reid, the franchisees are celebrating the day with special deals and donating $1 from any Big Mac and Egg McMuffin from today until May 9th.
The donations will directly support Ronald McDonald House of Southwestern Ontario.
Supporting RMHC won’t stop on May 9th however with McHappy Day on May 10th.
