Mitchell District High School Undertaking Equity Week This Week

Mitchell District Highschool kicked of Equity Week yesterday. Students at the school this week are challenging themselves to examine their identities and where those came from.

In the post to the schools social media they explore questions for uncovering your blind spots of identity.

In the post they say things like limiting your social circle limits your perspective, finding out who the others are in your life, checking how often a person uses generalizations in conversation and how things like accents could possibly change your perception of a person.
