Police were contacted at 10:30am on November 18th after the accused was seen on private property causing damage.
Officers arrived on the scene moments later and arrested the suspect. During the arrest the suspect assaulted an officer. No serious injuries were reported.
A 39 year old male of no fixed address has been charged with mischief under $5,000, resisting arrest and failing to comply with a probation order.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
