On May 23rd at around 1:30pm, Perth County OPP investigated a case of mischief on Line 84 in North Perth.
An officer was on patrol on Perth Road 164 south of Listowel when someone was seen walking along the highway acting erratically and stepped into the lane of traffic towards the police cruiser.
During the interaction, a large rock was thrown at the cruiser.
As a result, a 27 year old of no fixed address has been charged with Mischief Under $5000 and Causing a Disturbance.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
