To say it was a big year for events across Minto in 2022 would be an understatement.
A recap of the year for the town’s economic development team saw 88 organized events by the end of the year as well as 15 workshops done in partnership with the LaunchIt Community Hub.
Belinda Wick-Graham, Minto’s Economic and Community Development Director says the effort isn’t just on them but also getting the entire community involved.
“Here in Minto we really believe in working with community residents, community groups. It’s an all in team effort to do this successfully. We work with a lot of community groups and organizations. 29 different committees to be exact.” said Graham.
The year started off rough with limits due to pandemic restrictions but were able to continue growth as restrictions eased and the province saw a return to normalcy.
