The Town of Minto is receiving federal funding to support the reconstruction of Arthur Street West from Elora Street to 50 meters west of Wilson Street in Harriston.
The funding amount of $2,670,525 from the Ministry of Transportation’s Connecting Links Program will support the project, a key roadway serving locals, businesses, emergency services and visitors.
Mayor Dave Turton says Arthur Street West is an important route for Harriston and the surrounding area, and these improvements will make a real difference for those who use it every day.
The town will move forward with planning and construction as part of its ongoing commitment to maintaining safe and reliable infrastructure for residents.
