The Town of Minto will be hosting a summit bringing together community leaders, municipal representatives and regional partners across rural Ontario looking at community and economic development.
Presented by the Ministry of Rural Affairs, Town of Minto, ROMA and the Minto Chamber, the Teeny Tiny Summit looks at how small actions and collaborative leadership can bring meaningful, long term impacts to rural communities.
Belinda Wick-Graham, Director of Economic & Community Development with the Town of Minto says this is all about how communities can prop each other up.
“It’s so much about how communities can work together and learn from things that people are already doing across the area, how they can work together to solve some of the problems and just hear the stories of what people are doing to help inspire action for you in your community” said Graham.
The summit will take place on May 26th at the Clifford Community Hall running from 8:30am-4pm.
