With spring in the air, Minto Fire is reminding residents there is plenty of housekeeping to take into consideration as the weather will slowly warm up once again.
It is still expected to see moments of freezing rain so drivers and those walking should be cautious of slippery conditions, be prepared for power outages and ice and wind can cause issues, take caution near rising waters as melting snow and spring rain will elevate the river flows and to be cautious on the roads during the swings of changing weather.
Spring is expected to come in slowly with bouts of ice and snow still possible well into April.
