The plant currently employs 650 people and the expansion would add 37,800 square feet as a staging area to the existing plant and also add 18 spaces in their parking lot.
The report from the Planning Department explained the rezoning as a porting of the 54 acre property will change from future development to industrial designation. The change also reduced the amount of parking for the additional square footage down from 39 to the approved 18.
