The Christmas Silent Auction event makes it possible that they receive the necessary funding by the many amazing donations received with people bid on the items donated by private individuals and commercial sponsors.
If you would like to view the items up for bid you can find them online at mintoartscouncil.ca or you can view them at the Gallery at 88 Mill Street in Harriston during normal business hours.
