Welcome to Roland’s Good News File… brought to you by Royal LePage Don Hamilton Real Estate… I’m Roland Archer.

The ability to take in an art exhibit offers an opportunity for taking in something that offers not just a feast for the eyes but also for the soul and mind. The way each exhibit at a gallery touches a person taking it in is as individual as we each are.

The Minto Arts Council announced that the Minto Art Gallery is reopening in Harriston to visitors in September.

The schedule for exhibits include Saugeen Artists in September and October, KW Artists in October and November and the Christmas Silent Auction in November and December.

The Gallery is again in need of volunteers to assist in it’s daily operation. If you are volunteered there in the past or wish to give assisting the arts in Minto a try you can email mintoartscouncil@gmail.com

The Minto Arts Council is a non-profit volunteer directed organization designated to promote and encourage residents to take part and enjoy the arts and heritage of the Town of Minto and surrounding areas.

The Gallery is open Tuesday and Thursday 6 to 8pm, Wednesday and Friday from 2 until 4pm and Saturdays from 11 am until 1pm.

You can find out more information on the Gallery and the Minto Arts Council at mintoartscouncil.ca.

The Gallery is located at 88 Mill Street in Harriston.
