Milverton Fights Back is set once again for the annual cancer fundraiser all kicking off next month.
Similar in years past the day is filled with various events all while raising funds in support of cancer research for the Canadian Cancer Society.
This year the event will take place at the Milverton Agri Centre and the Arand Field Ballpark.
Makinna McCormick with Milverton Fights Back says among the many events includes the head shaving.
“We’ve been shaving heads for quite a long time, it was actually kind of the original cornerstone event of Milverton Fights Back in 2004 the first time we started doing this. We’ve probably had close to 100 people shave their heads.” said McCormick.
Currently there are a limited amount of lawn signs available for We Are Stronger and Cancer Stinks. Those interested are asked to reach out to Makinna.
