As Huron-Perths COVID-19 numbers decline and businesses reopen, the name of the game of shopping local never changes.
The community has shown support for one another with things such as shop local dollars and as North Perth Mayor Todd Kasenberg says, shopping local is supporting your friends and neighbours.
“Our neighbours, our friends own these businesses locally and we want them to survive, not just survive but to thrive.” said Kasenberg
Mayor Kasenberg added the work the Listowel BIA and Perth County Tourism does on the initiatives taken to always keep local support strong is a boost to the community.
