Masking Still To Be Required in Local Hospitals

While the province is set to remove the remainder of the province’s mask mandate on Saturday which includes public transit and hospitals, many local hospitals will still require masks for everyone to enter buildings.

The Listowel Wingham Hospital Alliance announced they will still require staff, outpatients and visitors to wear masks for the foreseeable future.

Angela Stanley, President of North Wellington Health Care and Groves Memorial Community Hospital says they will still require masks to limit getting and spreading the virus in their hospitals which includes Palmerston and Mount Forest.

There was no given end date as to end local hospitals would lift the mandate.
