They and other first responders attended the scene on Road 113 between Line 29 and 26 just before 6pm on November 23rd.
Investigation revealed a stake truck had stopped facing northbound on Road 113, waiting to turn left when a Volkswagen Jetta travelling north at highway speeds drove directly into the back of the truck.
The driver of the Jetta was extricated from the vehicle by Sebringville Fire and taken to local hospital.
They were later airlifted to London in critical condition.
The section of road involved was closed for several hours to allow for investigation into the incident.
The cause at this time remains unknown.
