Eden McQueen and Catherine Keleher has been named as the Luella Logan award recipients. Warden Andy Lennox announced the winner for the Luella Logan Scholarship.
The scholarship awards $1500 to a young woman pursing post secondary in political science, public administration or a related undergraduate or graduate degree at a Canadian college or university.
Eden is currently working towards a degree in Political Science Specialization in Public Law and Judicial Studies at McMaster University.
Past Warden Catherin Keleher was awarded the Luella Logan Award for Outstanding Service by a Woman in Politics. Keleher was elected as Warden in 1994, becoming the 2nd woman in Wellington County to hold the seat.
