Unemployment across the region once again remains as one of the lowest in Ontario.
Employment across the Stratford-Bruce Economic Region increased by 3.9 per cent last month with gains mostly seen in full time at 3.5 per cent.
The unemployment rate dropped 0.5 percentage points to 4.3 per cent which now has the region as the lowest in Ontario.
Provincial unemployment dropped 0.4 percentage points at 7.9 per cent.
Dana Soucie, Executive Director for the Four County Labour Market Planning Board says this month’s report is very positive with a huge gain overall in employment.
