Local Ukraine Ex-Pat Aims to Raise Donations and Money to Send Back to Ukraine

For a Ukrainian living in North Perth it has been a surreal thing to watch events unfold in his home country at the hands of Russia.

This has led Igor Stadnik to contact It Takes a Village and organize a donation drive to send both money and supplies back to Ukraine to help everyone in need there.

They are looking for medical supplies, food, clothing, any household articles that may be hard to come by during the invasion by Russia.

Igor is hoping to send the supplies collected to the Ukraine on Tuesday.

“We are going to send it to Toronto and there is a volunteer company that will send it to Poland and then from Poland to the Ukraine.”

You can drop off any donations to It Takes a Village in Listowel and they will make sure it gets sent to the Ukraine.
