Local Monkton Cemetery sees Wrought Iron Gates Stolen this past Spring

A cemetery in Monkton has reported that some of it’s wrought iron gates were stolen from the church cemetery this past spring.

In the post to social media on Tuesday, Linda Pehlke says that they are reaching out after the thieves took off with one larger gate and a smaller man gate.

She then adds that it will be a big expense for their small congregation to replace.

The site is the home of the cemetery for the First Lutheran Church Logan & Redeemer Lutheran Church in Monkton.

It is located at 5511 Road 160 in Monkton.
