Local Manufacturer TG Minto Feeling Pinch of Border Closures

Local area industries are feeling the ripple effect of the protesters closing of the various border crossing around Ontario all in their attempt to get the Covid-19 and vaccine mandates repealed.

TG Minto is seeing component shipment delays due to the increase in border wait times.

The company makes parts for Toyota which has seen it shut down all 3 of their Ontario assembly facilities as a result of the supply chain disruption.

Company has no plans to layoff workers at this time. They have never had them in the 20 year history of the company.
