Local Heidelberg Pitcher drafted in 2nd Round to Mets

The Big League dreams of a Heidelberg pitcher got a boost recently with him being named in the MLB draft Monday afternoon.

Calvin Ziegler was taken in the 2^nd round 46^th over all by the New York Mets.

Ziegler had committed to Auburn University for the fall but will no longer be attending as he plans on turning pro.
