Local Financial Advisor Makes Donation as Part of Snowman Competition

Local Financial Advisor Dean Ribey of the Co-Operators made a donation today as part of his recent Snowman Building Competition he ran last month.

Local families were challenged to compete against each other all for a chance at winning $1000 donated to their charity of choice.

Due to the number and quality of submissions Ribey decided to not only do the $1000 donation but also he gave the remaining 5 families all a $500 donation to their charity of choice.

The donation today was a $500 one to the Canadian Down Siyndrome Society.

It was fitting with it being World Down Syndrome Day.
