Nine Ontario farms were named among many winners as part of Holstein Canada’s Master Breeder awards from over the weekend.
In the 60 animals registered annually category, shields were presented to Roger and Karen Haag of Brussels and Henry and Robert Velthuis of Mountain.
Three Ontario herds were awarded shields in the 30-39 registrations category which included David and Mitch Keiffer of Teeswater, James and Erla Brubacher of Wallenstein and James and Helen Christie of Tara.
Cleon Gingrich of Drayton was the only Ontario winner of three in the 20-24 registration category.
The presentations will take place at Holstein Canada’s annual meeting in April.
