New Hamburg based John Bailey brought home an award as part of his work on Alex Cuba’s album “Mendo” which won the Grammy for Best Latin Pop Album on March 3rd.
The work was completed remotely for Bailey, with Cuba residing in British Columbia and them collaborating remotely.
Bailey wasn’t able to receive his award in person.
He has a chance to win his third Recording Engineer of the Year award at the Juno Awards next month. He has been nominated eight times, winning in 2007 and 2020.
