One of Canada’s most well known journalists, Lloyd Robertson has passed away at the age of 92.
The veteran broadcaster held a career more that six decades starting in 1952 at a radio station in his hometown of Stratford, making his TV debut in 1956 with CBC and grew to CTV National News in 1976 and later led as chief anchor and senior news editor until 2011.
Robertsons career spans major events from the fall of the Berlin Wall, Neil Armstrongs first steps on the moon, Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope to the terrorists attacks of 9/11.
